So then I resetting the computer did not work and resetting the sound card via SB command made it have no sound and then after resetting the computer the sound card wouldn't turn on again. Then when I increase the sound from mute to 2 out of 100 via windows it would blast at max volume again (The volume thing had occurred in the past too except it would correct itself after turning down the volume to 0 and back up). I tried turning down the sound but it wouldn't decrease even though it showed it on screen as volume decreasing, the only thing that worked is when the volume when to 0/mute did the sound go down. When I go to turn up the volume via my keyboard it is at 100% volume and the sound was suddenly getting increasingly louder (in the left speaker still while the rest of the speakers stayed the same). The sound blaster X3 had most of the sound in the left speaker all of the sudden. ![]() The last time I had an issue which was about an hour ago was new. Seems to be fine for now but two issues in one week where it freezes and/or shuts down is not on its own there is a problem with the product. So then I reset the computer and it turned back on automatically. So then I turned physically the sound up on the device and the speakers poped sound and then it worked at full blast. I would unplug it and plug it back in and then windows could see it but now sound still. I turned off the computer and the SB turned off and stayed off after turning the computer back on. The PC detected it was there and SB Command program was able to see it as well but no sound. Today it shut off whilst the computer was still on then, I unplugged it and plugged it back into the computer and it turned on but no sound. ![]() Last monday the the DAC froze several times after 4 days of use so then I reset it and reinstalled the software and it worked great again. I purchased this recently and received it on the 12th.
